Our User Support includes the following options:
General Support includes information which is free to all users of Movable Type. If you are unable to find an answer to your question or issue using the free resources, and you have purchased a supported version of Movable Type, you can use the Personal Support options included with your license.
Users who have purchased a paid version of a Movable Type 3.0 license have access to our Personal Support options: Basic Support and Advanced Support Services.
Basic Support includes access to our Member-Only Knowledge Base, and reasonable use of the online ticket support system to request assistance with using the features of Movable Type. A Member-only Forum will be added in the near future.
To access the Basic Support system, log in to Your Account and use the links to the right under "Help & Support".
If the answer to your question cannot be found in the Knowledge Base, please open a new support ticket.
We realize that not every support issue will be covered through the Free or Basic Support Options and have therefore added Advanced Support Services.
These services are above and beyond what is included in the Use Licenses and are charged on a per-incident basis. The services range from installation and upgrades through troubleshooting and host configuration.
To access Advanced Support Services, log in to Your Account, choose the link at the bottom of the main page to "purchase additional products and services". This link takes you to the store page, where you can purchase an available service.
Your purchase will create a ticket in our help desk system, which we will respond to with an outline of the information we require to proceed.
